Hello! We are Last Known Settlers. We play pop songs that rock and rock songs that pop. We also play covers, ditties, ballads, and the occasional chantey. We play skee ball and Scrabble, too. We are a very talented band.

We (mostly) live in Brooklyn, but we are originally from different places. Heather is from Alaska. It is a very big state. It is also very cold. Alaska is very big and very cold. Heather sings. She sings about escaping snow and intolerable people, among other things. She also sings show tunes, but she won’t sing them on stage unless you ask her nicely. Annie is from the greater Los Angeles area, which is a nice way of saying the Valley. She is classically trained in piano, but she is self-trained in rock and roll. She plays the keyboards and the glockenspiel simultaneously. That means at the same time! Andy is from the tri-state area–you can pick whatever three states you’d like. He is either a guitarist who plays with architecture, or an architect who plays bass. Andy can grow a full beard in one hour. Jeff is from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, which is home to the oldest brewery in America. It was started 65 million years ago by dinosaurs. Jeff plays drums. If you listen closely you can hear influences of disco underneath a heavy layer of prehistoric beer.

We have released a compact disc full of music you can enjoy. The compact disc is self-titled, which means it is named after us, Last Known Settlers. You can buy them at our shows. It will be available on iTunes soon, so please be patient. In the meantime, you can visit our Muxtape page and take a listen. Please make sure your speakers are turned to ROCK.
